Chinon

We visited Chinon on our second full day in the Loire Valley. Chinon is most famous for being the favorite residence of Henri II, but also for housing Joan of Arc before the Brits made her into a Sunday roast (heh heh--get it?).

As you can see, traveling through the Loire Valley can be intense and exhausting.

Medieval tower.

Gahhh! Our parents keep on taking us to all these pretty places in the Loire Valley.

The Loire, again...
